Description:
Vincent LaMarca, a homicide investigator in New York City, has established a lengthy and illustrious career in law enforcement and earned a reputation as a man who is devoted to his work. The stakes are higher for Vincent in his most recent case, though, because the suspect is his own son. Since Vincent divorced his wife and fled the dilapidated Long Beach, Long Island boardwalks for the obscurity of Manhattan and a lucrative position with the NYPD, he and Joey have been bitterly alienated. He keeps his fiancée at a distance and leads a solitary life. His relationship with his partner, Reg, is the closest he has, and Vincent ensures that it ends at the station door.
Storyline:
Vincent Lamarca, whose father was put to death for stealing a child in the 1950s, became a police officer before witnessing his own son being charged with murder.
