Description:
The tale of the public servant who worked fearlessly to address the shortcomings of the system. Costao, which is set in the 1990s, chronicles the life of Costao Fernandes, a devoted Goan customs inspector. His attempts to take down a gold smuggling ring are the main focus of the story, which ends in a dramatic event where Fernandes kills a well-known politician's brother, Alvernaz Alemao, in self-defense. A manhunt and political scandal result from this incident, prompting Fernandes to go underground before coming out to tell his superiors about it. In spite of the difficulties that followed, the movie shows his unwavering dedication to justice.
