Description:
Neill Blomkamp is the director of the supernatural horror movie Demonic (2021). Carly (played by Cynthia Erivo) is the protagonist of the movie. She is alienated from her mother, Angela (played by Natascha McElhone), who has been in a coma for more than 20 years due to a violent incident that occurred during Carly's early years. In an attempt to learn the truth about the tragic incident, a group of scientists who have created a technology that enables Carly to access her mother's subconscious get in touch with her.
Carly discovers a scary and supernatural force unleashing havoc when she uses this experimental technology to access her mother's thoughts. Carly must face the psychological and physical symptoms when it becomes evident that demonic forces are at work.
Storyline:
When the supernatural powers at the heart of a long-standing conflict between mother and daughter are brutally exposed, a young woman unleashes horrific demons.
