Description:
An American immigrant in his late forties lives alone in a small American neighborhood in Mexico City in the 1950s. But when a young student shows up, the man is finally moved to make a genuine relationship with someone.
With the exception of a few interactions with other residents of the small American enclave he lives in, William Lee, an American expat and heroin addict in Mexico City, spends nearly all of his days by himself. He feels that it might now be feasible to build an intimate relationship with someone after meeting Eugene Allerton, a former soldier who is now living abroad.
