Description:
A weird item tumbles from the sky and bursts through the window of a dilapidated apartment building on a chilly, rainy night in New York City. It's an egg, and a weird little spider hatches from it. Charlotte, a disobedient 12-year-old comic book enthusiast, finds the creature. Charlotte feels alone even though her stepfather Ethan tries his hardest to get in touch with her through their comic book co-creation Fang Girl. Charlotte develops a bond with the spider while her mother and Ethan struggle to deal with their new baby. She calls it Sting and keeps it as a hidden pet. Sting's size grows along with Charlotte's infatuation with it. Sting's desire for blood grows unquenchable as he grows at a tremendous rate.
Storyline:
After secretly rearing an unsettlingly gifted spider, 12-year-old Charlotte is forced to confront the truth about her pet and struggle to keep her family alive when the once-endearing creature quickly
