Description:
It's almost Christmas Eve. Julian's eleventh birthday is also on this day. The wonderful scent of gingersnaps and tangerines, the sound of a crackling fire, the decorated Christmas tree, and the shimmering candlelight make it the nicest day of the year most of the time. everything that contributes to Christmas. However, nothing is the same this year. Christian feels as though Christmas has just been canceled, and Julian and his family are depressed about them.
