Description:
Steffen Haars' 2024 horror-comedy "Get Away" stars Nick Frost and Aisling Bea as Richard and Susan Smith, a couple who take their grown kids, Sam and Jessie, on a trip to the isolated Swedish island of Svalta. Their journey takes place during the yearly Karantän festival, which honors a troubling period in the island's past. The family discovers that the festival's roots are far darker than they had imagined when they become enmeshed in the bizarre customs of the island and come across hostile inhabitants.
Storyline:
When a family learns that the island they are on is home to a serial killer, their vacation to a secluded retreat takes an unexpected turn.
