Description:
John Shepherd, a professor of volcanology, realizes that the recent, inexplicable volcanic activity occurring all across the planet is the beginning of a global disaster that could wipe out humanity. The professor sets out to collect the proof required to persuade government officials that a worst-case scenario is occurring, with the help of a number of his students and a colleague who is confined to a wheelchair.
